I’m Alyssa Coscarelli, and I am a digital entrepreneur based in Los Angeles.

I’m not a fan of boxing myself in. My work spans writing, content creation, consulting, and beyond.

Since kickstarting my career as a fashion editor at Refinery29, I went on to write for leading digital platforms including Harper’s Bazaar, Fashionista, The Zoe Report, Byrdie, and CNN Style. I recently relocated to Los Angeles after 9 years in New York City (hence, @alyssainthecity). 

I have also collaborated with a range of prestigious brands you know and love, including Gucci, Prada, Shopbop, Moda Operandi, Farfetch, and Marc Jacobs (just to name a few!). 

Through my consulting services, I’ve helped brands big and small cultivate their voice and community through services including design input, styling, copywriting, event planning and hosting, influencer strategy, PR, and partnerships. Some notable clients include Spoak, Stone & Strand, Petite Studio, and People of Substance.

I’ve sold through product collaborations in a matter of days, as well as held the role as curator for boundary-pushing retail experiences Re:Store (a permanent store in San Francisco for shopping Instagram brands IRL) and SO MAJOR, a retail experience that hosts indie or digitally native brands in rotating pop-ups. 

Most recently, I’m leading Business Development for an exciting new digital platform called EMCEE, which turns influencers into retailers by providing a tool for creators to easily curate online storefronts and earn commission.

I’m passionate about discovering the latest and greatest in fashion, beauty, home, lifestyle, e-commerce, and travel, and sharing it with my loyal audience built over the course of a decade in the industry.

On a daily basis, I’m sharing my daily outfits and travels on social media, crossing things off the to-do list with consulting clients, and dreaming up the future of the Internet.

On days off, you can find me exploring uncharted neighborhoods, sleuthing through flea markets and vintage stores, taking a weekend trip somewhere new, surfing in Malibu, visiting indie boutiques and restaurants, discovering the latest museum or art installation, or shooting photos with friends. 

I believe in fashion not only as the business of selling clothes but as a means of self-expression and a reflection of the times, and I’m a big proponent of shopping small and secondhand.

I’m currently represented by PRE.VEYOR, a cutting edge entertainment management company. Through staying true to myself, I hope I can inspire others to do the same. Thanks for being here, and I hope we cross paths very soon.
